
About The Ezra Initiative
Founded in 2020, The Ezra Initiative has partnered with leading organizations—including a Fortune 300 company—to deliver a white-glove, enterprise-grade college planning and admissions advising benefit. The idea for the programming was based on Ezra Cornell's mission, to found a "university, where any person could pursue any study" and we take this to heart. We support professional families through one of life’s most high-stakes challenges while helping employers strengthen retention, loyalty, and well-being. Our program is structured, expert-led, and turnkey—requiring minimal lift from HR while delivering deeply meaningful impact for employees regardless of the goals of their child.

Nate has nearly two decades of experience building sophisticated, student-centered advising systems that improve outcomes, reduce stress, and help families navigate the growing complexity of college admissions. His work has focused on designing structured programs that deliver reliable support at scale while maintaining exceptional individual care.

Prior to founding The Ezra Initiative, Nate served in senior leadership roles in College Counseling and Admissions at Georgetown Prep, Cornell University, UC Berkeley, and Occidental College. Across these roles, he led teams, developed best-practice programming, and supported students through every step of admission and financial aid.

As a former Division I and Division III athlete, Nate also supports students pursuing collegiate athletics and brings deep experience with recruitment processes and NCAA considerations.

Our extended team has supported thousands of students and families and brings deep expertise across admissions strategy, essay development, NCAA recruitment, and financial planning.
